A workspace solution that’s far from cookie-cutter.
At the corner of High Street and Locust Avenue in Downtown Charlottesville, LoHi Coworking occupies what was once the original Martha Jefferson hospital building. Constructed in 1928-29, the building was made possible by a donation from Mr. and Mrs. Addison Patterson and has since often been referred to as “The Patterson Wing.”
Designed by Johnson & Brannan of Lynchburg, VA, the building is a fantastic local example of Colonial Revival architecture. In fact, it’s said to be the most technical and elaborate of its kind in the area!
This building has been exciting to modernize while still maintaining the original historic features that make it special. The end result is a truly unique space filled with character, where no two offices are exactly the same.
